Developing a community spirit and making sure that students settle in well to university life is our priority. For this reason, each year we recruit a team of Residential Assistants (RAs) from the student body in our residences who act as liaisons between residents and management.
Position Summary
A Residential Assistant (RA) is responsible for providing leadership and building community spirit amongst the student population in our student residences.
Living in our residences, the role of the RAs is to help fellow students adapt to living in residences and to help build a welcoming, inclusive, vibrant community environment conducive to academic and personal development.
The RA team help out at reception and also run events as part of the social programme in residences. Life in our campus residences is dynamic so RAs must be friendly, flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated in order to respond to changing needs and situations.
